Fort Wayne, IN —Youth Programs

Description

The children in the Summer Day Camp participated in CATCH games and innovative variations of familiar games to make them more active. Participants also learned about healthy food choices through lessons from the CATCH 4th grade curriculum book, "Taking Off." In addition, visual aids such as flash cards were used to teach the children about the sugar content of beverages. The children were also encouraged to teach these new lessons to their parents.
