Tallahassee, FL—Youth Programs

Description

The Fall Fitness programs for youth primarily focused on heart-healthy eating. Each week, the youth received packets containing information about food groups, serving sizes, important nutrients, healthy beverage and meal choices, and much more! In addition, the youth were often found reading health-related information on the colorful display boards at the facility. Approximately 20 youth attended the dietitian's presentation. In addition, the youth participated in gymnastics classes and a jump rope contest, which was enjoyed by all.
