Elyria, OH—Youth Programs


Description

In the Eat Well, Play Hard program, the children participated in physical activities such as jump rope, walking competitions, and CATCH games. They also received lessons about heart-healthy eating from a local dietitian, tasted healthy snacks, and received healthy recipes to take home. In the Rap A Lap program, the children focused primarily on physical activity through walks - outside and in the gym. In addition, the children received healthy eating materials and packets to read at home.
