Description
In the Eat Well, Play Hard program, the children participated in physical activities such as jump rope, walking competitions, and CATCH games. They also received lessons about heart-healthy eating from a local dietitian, tasted healthy snacks, and received healthy recipes to take home.
In the Rap A Lap program, the children focused primarily on physical activity through walks - outside and in the gym. In addition, the children received healthy eating materials and packets to read at home.
