The children participated in physical activities such as basketball and kick ball. Heart-healthy eating activities included sessions with a local dietitian on different topics such as the USDA Food Guide Pyramid, and how to choose healthy foods and snacks. The children also had an opportunity to prepare a healthy and nutritious snack, which they enjoyed.
